a. The name of the person on the original booking form remains the sole contact and is responsible for the property booked and all communications with Bran Cottage.
b. Online bookings made less than 48 hours prior to arrival must be confirmed by calling our office during business hours on (+40) 756587167.
c. The minimum stay at Bran Cottage is for 2 nights.
d. The Cottage can host 10 guests in queen beds and 2 guests on the sofa bed.
e. The Cottage has an open living, dining and kitchen area (fully equiped). 4 of the bedrooms are situated on the 1st floor and 1 bedrooms is located on the ground floor. There are 6 bathrooms in the Cottage. We provide also a barbecue place in the garden.
f. Bran Cottage is located in the natural park of Bucegi Mountains. The last 500 meters of stone road in order to reach the location, during winter and rainy days the ground can be very muddy so be prepared with proper shoes and ensure that your vehicul cand proceed in this kind of roads.
g. Bran Cottage reserves the right to refuse any booking.
h. Commercial filming and photography is not allowed on Bran Cottage property without the owner permision.
i. The use of the drone for private purposes must not violate the privacy of neighbors.
a. Check-in time is after 4 PM on the day of arrival and check out is anytime until 11 AM midday unless specified otherwise.
b. A Guest Registration Form must be completed at or before check-in by the person who made the booking.
c. Keys should be returned to the responsible of Bran Cottage on the day of departure.
d. Guests are responsible for their choice of accommodation. Bran Cottage is not responsible if the style of property does not live up to guests expectations, therefore guests should view property listings on www.brancottage.ro carefully before booking.
e. Smoking is not permitted inside Bran Cottage. You may smoke outside, but you are requested to not drop cigarette butts on the decking, on the ground or any woodland. Please take extra care especially during dry periods as all the surroundings are flammable!
f. Due to the high risk of fire, candles are sadly not permitted in the cottage. Anyone who wilfully or negligently causes damage to any buildings or equipment will be responsible for the cost of remedial repairs.
g. No Pets Allowed. We love animals but out of respect for everyone we can’t accept them inside the house.
h. The maximum capacity of the house is for 12 guests.
i. Guests are expected to leave the property in a neat and tidy manner on departure. This includes washing and putting away dishes, returning all items to their original position.
j. Guests are required to turn off the lights, lock doors and windows upon departure.
k. A minimum key replacement fee of 150€ will apply if property keys are not returned on departure.
l. When a property is booked for five nights or more, a complimentary refresh service including fresh linen and towels is provided.
m. Wi-Fi (where available) is provided free of charge for guests. Every effort will be made to ensure that Wi-Fi works as expected but we cannot guarantee a connection if network issues are beyond our control. In these circumstances no compensation will be considered as Wi-Fi is provided free of charge.
n. In the house there is a Wine Cellar and a coffee machine. These services are of common use exclusively for guests staying in the structure.
Further information will be provided by the Bran Cottage staff at the arrival.
o. For the safety of guests there is a kit aid, a smoke and gas detector, a fire extinguisher and an evacuation plan all clearly visible inside the structure.
p. In the event of breakages or damages, the guest will have to pay the Host the price of the item based on the price list in the House Rules. The Host reserves a maximum of 24 hours from the guest’s check out to communicate the damages suffered.
q. Private parties and live music are not permitted unless with the written authorization from the Host. Silence hours are from 10.00 pm to 8.00 am.
a. The Ciubar rental is for a fee (500 lei) and is not included in the cost of accommodation. We will do the preparation (remove the water, clean, disinfect, introduce fresh water, start the fire in the stove and keep it until we hand over the cottage). You can maintain the fire by periodically inserting wood into the stove until the water reaches the desired temperature. we recommend a temperature of use between 32 – 34 degrees C°. Attention: a higher temperature can cause skin damage such as burns!!
b. After use, always put the lid on, to maintain a constant temperature.
c. The next day, although the water remains at a fairly high temperature, before you start using it again, turn on the fire at least 1 before use. (This time varies depending on the outside temperature).
d. We provide you with matches, lighters and pills for starting the fire and wood for maintenance.
e. Water contains chlorine or active oxygen. If this is not desired, please let us know on the day of booking.
f. The water will not be changed during your stay.
g. We recommend that you take a shower before using it to keep the water clean throughout your stay.
h. Each new water change and its preparation will cost another 500 lei
PAYMENT METHOD
a. Payments may be made by credit card. We also accept cash payment directly on location.
b. A non-refundable 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking and Provisional reservations.
c. The balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
d. For online reservations made less than 14 days before arrival, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
e. The offer may be subject to special conditions for holiday periods. The reservation is confermed only after the deposit or the entire amount has been paid.
CANCELLATION POLICY
a. The guest can cancel free of charge until 24 h after booking. After that period the 30% deposite is non-refundable.
b. In case of cancellation less than 14 days before the arriving date, the penalty is 100%.
c. Booking dates cannot be changed.
